Administration Dept
Our awesome admin department is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the church.
Policies and best practices are developed to guide church leadership.
Managing of staff and office personnel.
Evangelism Team
Lovingly sharing the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ by witnessing His greatness and leading others to eternal salvation.
Inviting others into a personal relationship with Christ.
Going out of the four walls of the church.
Reaching by example, get involved, show you care, loving others where they are without judgement.
Men's Dept
Establishing the men of the church to become disciples and firm pillars equipping other men.
Becoming men of valor and purpose as the head of their homes and the covering of their God given wives.
Mentorship to one another concerning parenting, marriage, business, bible study and fellowship.
Providing audio/visual/ media and recording support to the church.
Hospitality Dept
Welcoming guests upon arrival and offering comfort.
Assisting visitors and guests in finding seating.
Ensuring cleanliness of all areas of the church.
Extending welcome gifts for visitors and guests.
Preparing, managing, humbly serving food and beverages for events.
Pastor's Aide Committee
Lovingly serving our pastor and first family through prayers, planning, encouraging words/deeds and financial support.
Committee members may/may not be granted particular details or areas of the pastor's life that other congregants are not aware of.
Ensuring the pastor is fully equipped, prepared and able to fulfil his/her responsibilities in leading the congregation.
Supporting the spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs to strengthen the faith of a woman offering solid sisterhood.
Discovering and encouraging the development of spiritual gifts and anointings.
Support, prayer, gatherings and training for guidance in parenting and all areas of life.
Training, mentoring and counseling of the woman that she may learn her purpose and destiny in Christ.
Women's Dept
Finance Dept
Committed to budgeting monitoring and controlling how church funds are spent making sure the church will have adequate resources to fulfill its mission and vision.
Taking into account the needs of the congregation and community.
Not forsaking the church is both a hospital for the lost and sick but also encompasses a business side.
Sound Dept
Appointed disciples responsible for the ministry's sound, visual acuity, and overall blending during each portion of service which is a critical part of setting the atmosphere, ushering in the Holy Spirit and assisting as the word of the Lord is ministered.
For the word of God says according to, Psalms 100:1 "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands". Every opportunity given to sing praises and worship the Father is a wonderful moment that we shall not take for granted at AWFHAD Ministries!
Worship Team
God's anointed vessels set to usher the Spirit of God into the atmosphere or service.
Offering up worship and praise in unity and unison welcoming all to engage throughout the congregation
Setting a standard for God and maintaining a regular schedule for rehearsal and punctuality that God may receive the Glory in all worship offered.
Education Dept
Here at AWFHAD Ministries the Holy Bible and it's principles are not just taught to the entire body but applied daily and yes, this means classes are conducted through bible study and spiritual warfare classes regularly. Our instructor is licensed and ordained by Yaweh to teach, equip and release those under her leadership. Every class that is taught within this ministry is also weighed by examination and upon satisfactorily passing, certification is earned. Teachers are held to a higher standard: The Bible states that those who teach will be judged with greater strictness because they will be held accountable for what they teach (James 3:1).
It's a labor of love: Elders who labor in preaching and teaching are to be "considered worthy of double honor"
(1 Timothy 5:17). It requires preparation: Teachers are to "preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season" (2 Timothy 4:2). It involves mutual instruction: Believers are also encouraged to "teach and admonish one another" with all wisdom (Colossians 3:16)
So, as disciples of Jesus Christ we are put to the test of our faith and the living word of God to go out and share with other as well as studying to show ourselves approved.
Youth Dept
Youth inspired topics for day-to-day living with interaction.
Monthly youth ministry in forced learning to serve the Lord and the operation of the church.
Youth giving back to the community, spending time with the elderly.
Evangelism of the youth, chaperoned by evangelism team, Pastor and hospitality team.
Public Relations Dept
The sheer integrity and image of the Lord's house shall always be known as tactful and of good character just as Jesus Christ is known to have be. The church is the place where the sick and lost come for help and to be made whole, therefore a separation from this carnal world and the body of Christ must remain a standard at all times not bringing any form of shame unto the house of God.
Whether community outreach or hospitality all that is done shall be done in decency and in order just as the Lord God commands. The "Church" even in these last days plays an intricate part in society with the leading of transparent leadership, honesty, boldness, compassion, forgiveness, and vision!
